Sunnyvale Family Medicine provides comprehensive medical care and surgical diagnosis for the whole family. Dr. Ray Rollins is an office based family practitioner and works, if needed, in consultation with specialists all over Dallas/Ft. Worth to insure you get the appropriate care you need.

Dr. Rollins is a member of the medical staff of Baylor Scott and White at Sunnyvale and affiliated with UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Sunnyvale Family Medicine offers the convenience of in-house blood draw, saving you a trip to the lab.

Convenient Appointments

We're open Monday thru Thursday, 8am to 5pm (closed for lunch 12-1pm).
Office hours Friday are 8am-2pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Routine Check-ups

As a family physician, Dr. Rollins provides comprehensive medical care and surgical diagnosis.

Continuity of care provides the best preventive medicine. Sunnyvale Family Medicine provides care for: annual physicals for all age groups, PAP smears, high blood pressure, diabetes, sinus troubles, cholesterol, thyroid disorders, abdominal pain, prostate screens, allergies, arthritis, anxiety, depression, adolescent and adult immunizations and skin conditions.

Chronic Disease

Chronic conditions develop slowly and may worsen over time. Chronic disease we diagnose and treat include high blood pressure, , diabetes. sinus troubles, allergies, anxiety, depression, obesity, arthritis and cancer. Dr. Rollins works to uncover and prevent heart disease on a daily basis.

Acute Illness

Acute illnesses come on rapidly and are accompanied by distinct symptoms and often last only a few days or weeks. Acute illnesses include the an asthma attack, bronchitis, common cold, the flu, pneumonia and strep throat,

School Physicals

Whether your child is getting ready for sports, school or camp, a physical exam with Sunnyvale Family Medicine is the first step in making sure your child is ready for action!

We also provide routine pediatric care, ear and throat infections, school physicals, ADD and other childhood diseases.

Women's Health

Healthcare, tests and treatment for include PAP smears, well woman exams, pelvic infections, pelvic and breast exams, birth control, menopause, irregular periods, and osteoporosis.

Minor Surgery

Dr. Rollins performs mole removal, skin biopsy, lacerations, simple fractures, skin infections, abscess drainage, burns, sports and occupational medicine.

Preventive Care

Preventive Care aims to prevent disease, disability, and death by taking a proactive approach to medicine, including cancer screenings such as mammograms and colonoscopies.

Dr. Rollins counsels on many topics such as quitting smoking, losing weight, eating healthy, treating depression, and reducing alcohol use.

Allergy Shots

Sunnyvale Family Medicine offers Kenalog shots for allergic reactions and seasonal allergies.

Appointments

HOURS BY APPOINTMENT

WALK-INS ACCEPTED

Please call to set up an appointment or to check on any waiting time for a walk-in visit. We prefer to do physicals by appointment as they can be lengthy but we can usually easily work in a routine ailment.

Cancellations

If an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled, patients are asked to call or leave a message at least 24 hours before their appointment time.

Prescriptions

For refills on medications please call your pharmacy with the refill number on the bottle and they will call or fax our office for refills.

It is a good idea to always to use the same pharmacy. That way they can keep a record of your medications and can let us know if there is a conflict of medication from our office, another doctor you may be seeing, and other important information.

Your first visit to Sunnyvale Family Medicine establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor.

We accept most traditional insurance plans. Please contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Qualifications for insurance coverage may differ due to the uniqueness of each procedure.
